Googles keyword tool is inaccurate

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

Is it just me or is their keyword tool inaccurate?

Their Keyword search tool which will give you a view of the search volume and advertiser competition shows the keyword ‘adwords miracle’ has a average search volume with 0 competition, which seemed odd so I Googled it and what do you know, it’s full of ads, 3 big yellow ads at the top of the screen and the right hand bar is jam packed, what’s the deal Google? There’s no point offering these tools if they are giving out bad data…

Hi my name is Todd, and I’m an Addict

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

Yeah, I’m addicted to RebBull. Have been for a few years now, I usually consume about 4 a day which is pretty bad but when I work, I work like 16hrs+ in a day, sometimes more so I like to keep the energy going with some caffeine and music. My desk is littered with bottles and my fridge consists of very little food, I’m even considering buying a new freezer because my current freezer if full with bottles of Vodka, no room for meat.

I can identify with job freedom or security

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

I can defiantly identify with Shoe Money’s post about secure people and free people, I know so many people who think there’s nothing outside their 9-5 job for them, too scared to even change job, to me having a job is like being a slave to something, it can be demoralizing and personally there’s more money to be made out there then working for someone else but so many people can’t see it.

They’re too scared to try.

Steve Pavlina has a great post about this that I’m sure many people have read.

There is an exception though, there are lots of awesome jobs out there that are extremely rewarding, that you would love to do every day, I’m generalizing about what I say above, it’s the cubicle workers that hate their job that I’m talking about, too scared to go elsewhere, too scared to take the chance to lose their shitty job and too scared to quit and do something on their own.

Another reason why I identify about the post is that I quit my job about 6 months ago, packed up everything and moved from Australia to Thailand… I’m now out in the open, no job, no secure income, but I’m doing well and I’ve just started this blogging project that I’m hoping to get kicking off more soon ;)

I have other income sources from online ventures I’ve started over the last 6 months, but it all started from quitting my job.
