Digital point forums down

Digital point forums seem to have had a major issue today, don’t know about you but when I try to access it, all I get is ‘Database error’…

Good luck to them!, but on top of that sitepoint is down for maintenance!…

So my usual morning of having a coffee and checking out what’s for sale around town is dead in the water…

I might have to actually do some work… dammit.

Scriptlance is down too. That’s very weird. I wonder if it’s some type of internet attack on these sites?

Have been waiting for DigitalPoint to come back, but it’s taking a while. I had to search Google for clues about what’s up & found this article. It really is amazing how Google can index a site on their first page results in just less than a day.

Yeah, pretty amazing stuff isn’t it!

the more frequently a site is updated, the more frequently google will spider it.

If you go into the google webmaster tools, you can assign a website to your account by adding a piece of code to your site to verify that you own it.

After you’ve done that, you can then actually set the frequency that the google bot visits your site, from low, medium and high… pretty cool :)
