I’m sick of seeing BETA

Come on people, get a new buzz word, you can’t release something and call it BETA. And then leave it like that forever.

It’s a word that serves a purpose and you’re all killing it by using it to make yourself look cool.

Your app might be cool, but ‘beta’ isn’t going to make you more money.

Cut it out, I personally think anything that’s released in beta and just stays that way is not as good as your competitors app that ISN’T beta.

You’re only hurting yourself.

I remember back in the good old days before 2000, when we used to release software applications (desktop apps) and push up the version number, so jump straight in to version 2, and then try to push through as many version numbers as we could early.

A higher version shows a long commitment to updates, fixes and an active development team behind the application.

Beta looks lazy to me, half ass app released then forgotten about.
